Donald R. Burton
Donald R. Burton, 57, of Chemung, IL; passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at
the University of Wisconsin Hospital, Madison, WI.

He was born on May 30, 1960, in Harvard, IL to Seymour and Helena (Wickman) Burton.
He worked as a welder for UniCarriers Americas Corp., and also farmed dairy cattle and
sheep.

Donald married Lorraine Morgan on June 20, 1997, in Las Vegas, NV. He is a member
of the Harvard Moose Lodge. Don will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and
grandfather. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Lorraine; children Aaron (Mandy) Burton, Jeremy Burton,
Jessica Burton, Sabrina Burton; step-children Bruce (Jen) Byers, Colton (Sara) Byers,
Leon Byers, and Cassie Byers; six grandchildren and one on the way; siblings Betty
Drafz, Everett (Sue) Burton and Helen (Larry) Oerkfitz; and numerous nieces and
nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother James Burton.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2018, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral
Home, 107 W. Sumner St. Harvard. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday,
February 6, 2018, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Harvard.
