Don F. Kick
Donald F. Kick, 72, of Harvard, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday,
December 24, 2017, at his home.

He was born January 13, 1945, in Elgin, IL; the son of the late Frederic E. and Jean A.
(Huggins) Kick.

Don received a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology and worked as a computer
programmer until retirement. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

Don was known as the quiet type. He loved spending time with his family.
Don married Karen Marie Schultz on September 24, 1977, at St. Emily in Mt.
Prospect, IL.

Survivors include his wife Karen; children Daniel (Maureen) Kick of McHenry, and
Sean (Meagan) Kick of Milwaukee, WI; siblings Holly (David) Scott of McHenry, Alan
Kick of Woodstock and Wendy Curtis of Island Lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of friends and family will be Saturday, January 13, 2018, from 10-12 p.m.,
at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St. Harvard, IL 60033.
Memorial services will follow at 12 p.m.
